The site is very good at its purpose of teaching people about the history of computers. The site uses pictures to engage the reader but I would say that the site is mainly for student or older people as there is a large volume of text which younger uses may find boring. The site has a simple layout which makes navigating easy. There is also a search box and hyperlinks on the home page which makes finding certain information effortless. There many categories that you can search for, which reduces search time. This is also useful if you were researching a particular theme.

Overall the site teaches a lot and is useful for online education. Although if someone has trouble understanding what was being said on the site, there is no one to help so that is a disadvantage of online education. By having the information online it means that people can look at it anytime and anywhere with an internet connection. Also if a student is computer illiterate this may effect there online learning. Also unlike a classroom, online learning means students can’t interact with each other; this is a disadvantage as they can’t learn from others questions. Also there is a greater chance of being distracted online than there is from being in a classroom.
