Evaluate Your Communication

Texting - I use SMS to communicate quickly and effectively with my friends. I use this form of communication to have send quick messages that don’t require much detail. One disadvantage of texting is that it sometimes takes a long time for the recipient to reply.

Email – I use email again as a way of communicating with my friends quickly. Email is also useful as a way of transferring documents from one computer to another. Email also has the added advantage of being able to attach documents so I can send pictures and files to my contacts. As with texting it may take a long time for the recipient to reply. Email also requires people to have internet access which not everybody does.

Voice Communication - I use my mobile phone as a way to ring people in my contact list and also as a way of them contacting me. This is particularly useful as it means I can have more in depth conversations. Voice communication via mobile phones is useful as it is portable so I know that I can contact people and people can contact me. Although mobile phones are restricted by intent access they still depend on whether you are in an area with good signal.
