When Do You Use Emails?
I use an email service called “Hotmail” to communicate with different people. I also use email to transfer documents to different computers or send photos and files to different people. An advantage of using email is that it is cheap compared to travelling to talk to some one face to face. Also it is versatile you can attach many different documents such as photos and presentations. Also once the initial set up is done it is very easy to use. You can also send a message to a large group of people very quickly and simply. It also allows people to communicate from all over the world which is good for staying connected with friends and family. The disadvantages of email are that it is time consuming to try and get an answer for a complex question as it may involve many emails. Also misunderstanding can arise due to cultural differences as people may interpret words differently. There is also the chance that some attachments may contain viruses that could harm your computer. Also email can provide a major distraction in the work place. Email is also impersonal.
